Ideally Basal Cell Cancers and Squamous Cell Cancers should be removed using a Mohs procedure. However, at least for BCCs, sometimes just removing it, and cauterizing the base will be enough to eliminate all the neoplastic tissue. This one healed quite nicely and didn’t require any further treatments.
