Thanks so much to my patient and his mother for sharing his journey to clear skin so other young people know there is hope out there! As one of my patients once said “trust the process”. Acne this severe takes months to get under control. The good news is I have all his sessions already recorded and he does great, so don’t worry. We do utilize Accutane for him and you will see that process as well. In the first few weeks we treat him with antibiotics, anti inflammatories, and the strongest topical retinoid available-tazarotene. A few sessions of extractions to clear the thick waxy plugs and then we quickly move to Accutane once it was approved by insurance. Continue to follow his progress on my channel.
